Hello 2011

Opss.. We have been away from this blog since last year.. Here we just want to extend our greetings to Segians "Welcome back to SEGi!" and most importantly, we, YOUTH ABLAZE CF are back in action! After almost a month holiday, all of us back ere with a thanksgiving and joyful heart. We had our YA meeting in the past two weeks, indeed we all enjoyed our holiday :-)

This is the recap of how we end our YA meeting last year:

Our beloved advisors - Ms Vicky & Mr Anthony held an award ceremony where everyone who contributes in YA and our events are given a warrior title. We have newbees warriors, caring warrior, angelic warrior, talkative warriors and many many more among us! The reason for this small little award ceremony is to appreciate all of them. These helpful warriors, may the Lord bless you!

No prayer meeting on 7th December 2010

There will be no prayer meeting on 7th December (Tuesday) because it is a public holiday. Enjoy and have a good rest!

See you again coming Friday, 10th December for our weekly YA meeting, this Friday will be our last YA meeting for the year. Hope to see you there! Let's celebrate life with a purpose!

Sharing of joy!

We want to extend our greatest gratitude to God that make the events successful! Thanks to those who make their way to come as well as those who offers helping hands during the Thanksgiving Celebration. Indeed, we are blessed to have many many college students, particularly from SEGi UC, that came for the event.

The funds that are collected from the sale of the tickets are about RM2000+ and a group of SEGi lecturers also did a one-hour carolling session on 2nd December and they also collected more than RM400 of love offering from lecturers and staffs in different departments. Indeed, God is great!

On 3rd December, we are blessed to have the kids from Rumah Solihah & Positive Shelther to come to SEGi for a pre-Christmas and birthday celebration. The food (McDonald), party packs and gifts are sponsored by lecturers, staffs and few of the students. May God bless them for their kind heart!

Kids C'mas Party

Hey hey,

The event of 'A Thanksgiving Celebration; Celebrating Love, Life & Friendship' was great and indeed God is with us. Praise God for a wonderful night, and it's a blessing that we manage to collect RM2000++ for the two orphanages - Rumah Solihah & Positive Shelther.

So today, we are celebrating a c'mas cum birthday party for them in SEGi UC KD! The party will be at Lobby area. All we do is for a cause, to bless these kids. Though they are diagnose with HIV positive, let us not discriminate them, but to offer our helping hands, encourage them that this is not the end of the world for they are still so young.

Do you want to be apart of those who want to bless these kids? Come and help out today at 10am at Lobby area. Else, you guys could come at 12pm too, we will sing a few cmas songs & play some simple games with them. The party starts at 12pm.

A Thanksgiving Celebration

Hey fellows SEGians!

Thanksgiving Night is an annual event that is organized by Youth Ablaze. The purpose of this event is to be thankful of our God and our loved ones for what they have done for us throughout the year. God is awesome because we know that He is always always with us!

This year, we're back bigger and better! This year, the theme is 'A Thanksgiving Celebration - A celebration of life, love, and friendships!'. Not only that we are also celebrating with a great cause. The sale of tickets in this event shall proceed to Rumah Solihah and Positive Shelter (Poshe) home. Rumah Solihah and Poshe home are the homes for the orphans in Cheras, KL.They have about 25 children in total. Some of the orphans are even HIV infected, as young as 2 years old. Why not bless them with a little from our possessions?

Price? RM10 per pax (dinner is included)
